Napa Valley Petroleum offers a simple Propane Cylinder Exchange Program for individuals and commercial clients. Exchanges are done with 20#, 30#, 40#, 100# and Fork Lift Cylinders.

Individual Customers
The standard size cylinder used for individual use is the 20# cylinder which is a 5 gallons cylinder that holds about 4.5 gallons of propane. You can either purchase a cylinder from us or bring in your own non-expired cylinder for exchange. You simply drop off your empty cylinder and purchase another that is full – allowing for a quick and convenient refill service.
Commercial Customers
For our commercial customers we will deliver and exchange your empty cylinders. Customer is only charged for tanks that are exchanged. We do not charge a delivery fee, unless customer calls for special delivery and request is not made more than 24 hours in advance.
Cylinder cages. Cylinder cages are available to secure cylinders at a rate of $50.00 annually for a 12 Cylinder Cage, larger cages are available for lease at an additional fee up to a 24 Cylinder cage.
Delivery days. Currently we deliver to the Napa area on Mondays, Yountville on Tuesdays and Fridays, St. Helena / Calistoga on Wednesdays and Sonoma on Thursdays.
